Join us for our first ever Berlin event!
July 28th, 6 pm onwards
Life's Old Blueprints: ancient DNA and the mysteries it reveals
Can tens-of-thousands year old bones still share information on the species they belonged to? And what about the relationship between different species, and their evolution through time?
Join us on July 28th at The CASTLE Pub for an exciting evening exploring how ancient DNA is reshaping our understanding of life, evolution and the past.
Through two engaging and interactive talks, we'll uncover how fragments of DNA preserved in ancient bones and museum specimens can reveal stories of extinct human relatives, forgotten migrations and hidden biodiversity. Along the way, we'll separate science from science fiction, discover why Jurassic Park remains fiction (for now!), and see how genetic evidence is changing the way scientists define species.
Whether you're fascinated by evolution, archaeology, genetics, or enjoy asking big questions, this event is for you.
Grab a drink, meet fellow curious minds, and spend an evening with our experts Alice Mosconi and Dima, who will take you on a journey through the blueprints of life, no matter how old they are.
Address: The CASTLE Pub, Invalidenstraße 129, 10115 Berlin
